Learn from these gigantic mistakes

All companies and business leaders make mistakes, but some have more painful consequences than others. Among the worst: 20th Century Fox's decision to grant George Lucas the licensing rights to "Star Wars," which ultimately proved to be worth up to $27 billion; Ford spending the equivalent of billions on its failed Edsel model; and Xerox's failure to cash in on its invention of the computer mouse, instead allowing Apple boss Steve Jobs to bring the technology to market.
