Mumbai exchange boosts derivatives trade to record

Record derivatives turnover was reported on the Mumbai stock exchange, or BSE, linked to the launch of cash payment incentives for trading in benchmark index-linked options. Futures and options trading on the BSE reached 3.4 trillion rupees, or 49% of total market turnover of 6.9 trillion rupees, including the rival National Stock Exchange, on Tuesday.
