Report projects higher health spending trend for 2015

A report by the PricewaterhouseCoopers Health Research Institute has estimated a health cost trend of 6.8% in 2015, a slight increase from 6.5% in 2014. The expected growth in health spending is due in part to an improved economy, expanded health insurance coverage and expensive specialty drugs, the report said.
