Johns Hopkins program boosts academic achievement at struggling school

The number of students graduating from Philadelphia's Strawberry Mansion High School increased substantially after the school implemented the Talent Development Model, a program that targets at-risk students in large high schools with academic and disciplinary problems. The program provides extra training in reading and math, as well as more personal learning environment.
