Columbia Gas aims to expand storage to meet East Coast needs

Columbia Gas Transmission Corp., a division of NiSource, wants to expand its natural gas storage facilities in Ohio by 6.7 billion cubic feet to meet growing demand in mid-Atlantic markets. If its plan is approved by federal regulators, it would drill up to 16 new storage wells and install some 17.1 miles of pipeline at two fields.
