Medical Acoustics seeks FDA approval for respiratory device

Medical Acoustics has filed an application with the FDA seeking 510(k) approval for a handheld device designed to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other respiratory conditions. The reusable lung flute delivers low-frequency sound waves into the lungs to support the patient's natural mucus-clearing system.
