Radiology group opposes equipment-use rate changes, RBMs

Representatives of a radiology group attended a House briefing to voice their opposition to a proposal to increase the imaging equipment utilization rate from 50% to 95%. The group also expressed their opposition to the use of radiology benefits managers in the Medicare system, saying the move would limit the capacity of doctors and patients to make important decisions and cause delays in treatments.
