David Plouffe, campaign manager for Barack Obama's presidential bid, drew a capacity crowd for his talk about their winning social-media strategy. "There is nothing more valuable than a human being talking to a human being," Plouffe said. Filmmaker Spike Lee led the judging of a consumer-generated advertising contest. Lee praised the quality of the work, saying, "It demonstrates that you can't dictate where talent is. You don't have to be an employee of an ad agency to make advertising."
