CDC, ADA and ONC collaborate on diabetes initiative

A collaborative effort between the CDC, the American Diabetes Association and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT is working on the Beacon Community Cooperative Agreement Program to help promote the use of information technology in diabetes management. The health initiative will fund 17 health information hubs in different U.S. communities and will help individuals by disseminating information about the disease.
