Branded snacks will stay safe in private label storm

Branded snacks are "inherently more sheltered" from private-label growth in Europe, compared to other food categories such as dairy, said a Euromonitor analyst. "If you've got that pang for a snack, you already have that image in your head of what you want, and nothing can shake that," said Lamine Lahouasnia, head of packaged food research.
