Almost three-quarters of shoppers buy their electronic products at bricks-and-mortar retail stores, with almost as many using such physical outlets for browsing and research, according to a survey by the Consumer Electronics Association. Meanwhile, panelists at the CEA Research Summit in New York City said retailers shouldn't be so concerned about consumers who come into their stores to look at products and then buy them from Internet retailers, a practice known as showrooming.
