Carb counting leads to small A1C improvements, review finds

Type 1 diabetes patients who followed a variety of carbohydrate counting methods attained an overall A1C improvement of only 0.3% points, compared with other dietary interventions, according to an analysis presented at the ADA 73rd Scientific Sessions.
