Data suggest aspirin may help prevent some types of CRC

Two observational data sets suggest aspirin may help prevent colorectal cancer but only for tumors with "wild-type" forms of the BRAF gene, Massachusetts General Hospital researchers reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association. The team said the absolute CRC differences were modest, however, and that more studies are needed to explore the connection between aspirin use and cancer.
