Excavators uncover ancient Roman road in Jerusalem

The Israeli Antiquities Authority uncovered an ancient Roman road in Jerusalem that was used to connect the city with the ancient coastal city of Jaffa about 1,800 years ago. The road is well-preserved, measuring 26 feet across and finished with curbstones on either side. Excavators uncovered the road while preparing to install a drainage pipe.
