Industry execs, experts weigh in on Obama's Keystone remarks

Some industry officials and experts weighed in on President Barack Obama's comments on TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline during his climate policy speech. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce suspects that Obama's remarks could be "another potential avenue to delay or potentially derail the pipeline," said Matt Letourneau, a spokesman with the group's Institute for 21st Century Energy. "If he's basing the decision on whether there's no significant environmental, greenhouse gas concerns -- that's what the State Department found," said Cindy Schild, downstream director for refineries and oil sands at the American Petroleum Institute.
