Maine law aims to shed light on Lyme disease

On Tuesday, Maine Gov. Paul LePage signed a bill designed to improve knowledge about Lyme disease in the state. Under the law, the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention website must inform the public that a negative Lyme disease test does not rule out infection. The law also calls for patients to receive a full report of all test results.
