Sports Direct to take over HMV's London flagship

Sportswear retailer Sports Direct will take over music seller HMV's Oxford Street flagship in London, which was opened in 1984 by Bob Geldof and is touted as the world's biggest music store. HMV, which entered administration earlier this year and was acquired by Hilco, will move the flagship to a smaller Oxford Street space as it refocuses on music and DVD sales and moves away from tablets and tech gadgets.
