Startup seeks to crowdsource online video discovery

U.K.-based startup Rockpack created an iPad application that allows users to create personalized online video channels to share with friends on Facebook. The app is aimed at facilitating discovery of online video via friends who subscribe to each other's channels or share videos on social networks. Rockpack is hoping to attract advertisers to sponsor channels and make use of the app for influencer marketing campaigns, said CEO Sofia Fenichell.
