Survey: People who "like" you really do like you

Many Facebook users who "like" brands mostly do so because they genuinely like and want to associate themselves with the brand in question, not simply because they're hoping to receive discounts or freebies, according to a survey. About half of respondents said they "liked" brands as a way of supporting them, topping any other reasons listed in the survey.
