Transit project forces bakery to find new location

After years of recreational baking, Jo-Ann Morlando and her daughter, Dominica Clementi, opened their own bakery business in 2004. They managed to stay in business during the recession, but their success was threatened by a plan to expand light-rail service in Charlotte, N.C. Their property was in the way, and the women were forced to move. Despite the frustrations and challenges they faced, they have found a new location and are once again open for business.
