Editorial: FDA should tighten restrictions on hydrogenated oils, label claims

Arguing that consumers are misled by label claims of trans fat-free products that still contain unhealthy tropical oils, the editorial asks the FDA to block inferences that palm oil is good for the consumer. Ultimately, it says, all trans fats should be eliminated from the food system by the regulatory agency.
