Bronx hopes campaign will cheer its business prospects

The Bronx, New York, has tapped native sons and daughters, including TV host Regis Philbin, mystery writer Mary Higgins Clark and the singer Valerie Simpson, for a $200,000 ad campaign aimed at improving the borough's image with the business community. The three-year-old campaign includes radio spots, newspaper ads and billboards in the Boston to Washington corridor.
