Food companies say no to sugar loan rate increase

Kraft, ConAgra, Kellogg and other food companies sent a letter to Congress on Monday urging a rejection of proposals that would increase the sugar loan rate. The companies say an increase would spur production growth in the U.S. and Mexico, which would create a surplus and increase costs.
