Study links vitamin D deficiency, health problems in elderly

A new study suggests that Dutch senior citizens experiencing a decline in physical performance might be suffering from vitamin D deficiency. Low vitamin D status isn't uncommon among the elderly, and it can result in bone loss, fractures, and other bone and muscle-related health problems.
