Survey: Mobile ads unpopular with phone users

Users are lukewarm at best about mobile ads, with most rating them "not acceptable," according to a new survey from Harris Interactive. The study, conducted for pay-per-call ad service Ingenio, also found Web search links resonated best, with 33% of users ranking them at least somewhat acceptable, while 84% rated a video pitch from a retail store as unacceptable.
