Iowa bridges remain closed; divers sent in for inspections

Some bridges in Johnson County, Iowa, remain closed to motorists while divers check underwater foundations for possible damage from the recent floods. Sonar scans indicate that the Park Road bridge may have suffered excessive scouring around its support pillars in the Ohio River. City workers have already removed 48 tons of debris that was caught on the structure, but officials fear the real damage may be beneath the surface.
