Early exposure to cow's milk may reduce risk of allergy

A study of 13,000 infants showed that those who were fed cow's milk within the first two weeks of life were less likely to develop an allergy to the milk protein compared with those given cow's milk at the age of 15 days or more. Researchers also found no association between allergies to cow's milk and soy, despite earlier estimates that the two coexist in up to one in three children.
