Upfront increase is estimated to be about 20%

The sales volume during this year's upfront season was estimated to be about 20% higher than last year, with cable networks writing about $7.9 billion in business. Rino Scanzoni, chief investment officer at WPP's GroupM, however, said full-year organic growth will be about 3%, adding that "cable will be a little north of that, broadcast a little south."
