Chinese imports of soybeans expected to increase

China's lack of land and water to satisfy its population's food needs means the country may increase soybean imports by 5% this year. "China is the most important market for U.S. soybeans, and the soybean trade will play a large role in improving the balance of China-U.S. trade," said Alan Kemper, president of the American Soybean Association.
