CSPO derivatives considered too expensive for U.S. food makers

Suppliers of certified-sustainable palm oil say that high costs could make CSPO derivatives "prohibitively expensive" for most U.S. food manufacturers. "Palm oil is intermingled at every stage of the supply chain, and traceability requires physical segregation," says Bob Norman of GreenPalm, adding that customers may not exist for all the fractions.
