AdRoll data show Facebook's News Feed ads spur high user engagement

Facebook's News Feed ads garner 21 times the click-thru rate of standard retargeted ads and 49 times the CTR of ads placed on Facebook's right-hand side, according to AdRoll data. Facebook may also be developing "stickers" into revenue-generating pictograms that satisfy a need to communicate beyond words, writes Josh Constine. Facebook's first branded effort, for Universal's "Despicable Me 2," was offered for free but could eventually become a paid product, Constine writes.
