Ineos plans olefins plant on U.S. Gulf Coast

Ineos plans to construct a linear alpha olefins facility on the U.S. Gulf Coast by 2016, with a potential capacity of more than 551,000 tons, said Ineos Oligomers CEO Bob Learman. "Ineos Group already has a significant footprint on the Gulf, so we have ready access to key resources," Learman said. "We have been working on this project for the past year, and it is now ready to scale up for a new phase of activity."
