Intel CTO to take leave of absence; future role not set

Justin Rattner, Intel's chief technology officer and the director of Intel Labs, will take a leave of absence from the company to attend to a family matter, the company said, adding that his future role will be determined when he returns to work. Rattner has been with Intel for 40 years. President Renee James will supervise Intel Labs in his absence, Intel said.
