Keystone XL pipeline to secure U.S. approval, Canadian execs say

TransCanada's Keystone XL pipeline will eventually gain President Barack Obama's approval, several Canadian business leaders said. "If it doesn't go through, all it's going to do is increase the cost to the U.S. and to the consumer," said Scott Saxberg, CEO of Canadian firm Crescent Point Energy. "We remain optimistic on Keystone XL's approval, even when considering this latest additional test, as the pipeline is in the best interests of the United States," said David Bouckhout, a senior commodity strategist for Toronto-Dominion Bank.
