Luxury hotels stand out, but they still have to compete

It's no secret that luxury hotel brands have to compete for customers. At Forrester Research’s Forum for Customer Experience Professionals East 2013, Hilton executive John Vanderslice said that different hotels cater to various types of upscale travelers, but hotels such as the Waldorf Astoria still face competition in the same market.
