Many jobs of the future require higher education, report predicts

About 55 million jobs could open up by 2020 as baby boomers continue to retire, but the workforce could face a shortage of approximately 5 million workers with college degrees, according to a new study by the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce. The report predicts that about 65% of jobs openings in the next 10 years will require some post-secondary training or education, however, critics of the report say employers will make adjustments to fill those jobs.
