More U.S. viewers are watching two screens at the same time, Nielsen reports

While watching television, 46% of smartphone owners and 43% of tablet computer owners in the U.S. are using their mobile devices at the same time on a daily basis, according to Nielsen. The market research firm reports almost half of tablet owners said they were looking up information on the slate about the TV program they were watching.
