Qdoba to close 18 Chicago-area eateries by this fall

Fast-casual burrito chain Qdoba will close 18 restaurants in the Chicago area as part of a larger plan to shutter 67 underperforming U.S. units this year, the company said. Qdoba, which is owned by Jack in the Box, expects to offset the closings with new store openings in markets where the brand has a higher profile.
