Rich students share more on social media, study says

Students from lower socioeconomic backgrounds tend to share less on social networks than do their more affluent counterparts, according to a study. Researchers at Purdue University found that while rich and poor students spent the same amount of time on Facebook, well-off students were more likely to participate in activities such as chatting, tagging photos and creating events.
