Runa touts natural caffeine of its RTD beverages

Runa's ready-to-drink beverages are aimed at young consumers who value the company's commitment to sustainability, co-founder and CEO Tyler Gage says in this interview. Runa's drinks contain guayusa, a plant grown in Ecuador, that contains as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. The drinks also contain twice the antioxidants of green tea. "It's the unique functionality of guayusa as a simple, natural source of energy, combined with its clean flavor, that allows us to offer a product that is truly different and unique," Gage says.
