Windy City residents flock to outdoor dining venues

Summer's heat may have put off its arrival in Chicago this year, but that didn't stop sunshine-starved residents from flocking to restaurant patios, rooftop decks and other outdoor dining areas. This year, several new eateries have opened with outdoor components including Embeya, Fountainhead, and Gather, a Lincoln Square eatery with a 40-seat covered patio.
