Wis. governor declares state of emergency in flood-hit counties

Hundreds of properties were damaged as rain led to widespread flooding in Wisconsin. Gov. Scott Walker visited affected areas and declared a state of emergency in seven counties. "We're still in the process of getting damage reports from all the different counties and seeing if we can make the threshold to ask for federal assistance to get funds to help fix public things like roads and bridges," said Tod Pritchard of Wisconsin Emergency Management.
