Report considers schools' use of Internet filters

Some schools' Internet-filtering policies may reach beyond the scope of the federal Children's Internet Protection Act of 2000, according to a report by the American Library Association. Report author Kristen Batch says schools should do more to teach students about appropriate online conduct instead of "over-filtering" the Internet.
