Study: Cutting back on drugs to save money can be dangerous

A study in the journal Medical Care says middle-aged and older people with chronic illnesses who reduce their prescription drug usage to save money suffer a higher risk of having heart problems or an overall decline in their health. The U.S. study is the first to show that a person's health is harmed in as little as two or three years when prescribed drugs are cut back.
