Soy milk rise indisputable, even if health studies conflict

Western Europeans have doubled their intake of soy milk since 1998, largely based on health and lactose intolerance considerations relative to cow's milk and despite a flurry of conflicting health reports. Consumption by volume is highest in the U.K., followed by France and a rapidly rising German market, and dairies are responding by reducing fat and lactose content and blending soy with milk, as with Yoplait's newly-introduced Bioplait brand.
