Apple faces queries from ITC, lawmakers

Apple has come under pressure on two legal fronts. The U.S. International Trade Commission said it has begun a formal probe into patent complaints from S3 Graphics, a computer-graphics company that wants the agency to ban U.S. iPhone and iPad imports. In Congress, Reps. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., and Joe Barton, R-Texas, sent a letter to Apple CEO Steve Jobs last week asking him to explain the company's recent revision of its privacy policy.
