Chinese managers play to their teams' strengths

Chinese bosses have an acute awareness of their team members' strengths and weaknesses, says Ken Chu, vice chairman of the Mission Hills Group. Only by playing to individuals' strengths, and isolating their weak points, can companies truly thrive, he says. "The Chinese have a saying: 'There's a different length for all the fingers on a hand.' You really need to find out each individual's strength," he says.
