Fast Retailing wants global staff to speak English

Fast Retailing, the Japanese company behind Uniqlo, will ask its executives around the world to write and conduct meetings in English. Employees will also be tested on their English skills. "This move is necessary for a Japanese company to survive as a global corporation," said Fast Retailing President and Chairman Tadashi Yanai.
