Older workers find job prospects dim

Labor Department statistics indicate that employers are starting to hire again, although workers over age 55 continue to have a tough time finding work. "I've been told I'm in the top five applicants for jobs, but I never get a callback. It's terrible that you're looked at as a second-class citizen," says Sandra Kay Barnes, 60, who has been jobless for almost two years.
