Regulators reject reports that some Basel III rules were shelved

The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision acknowledged that reforms to the Basel II framework, known as Basel III, will need to be reshaped but said no decisions will be made until its meeting in July. Reports indicated that the panel had agreed to scrap parts of Basel III, specifically a proposal for a net stable funding ratio, but insiders said that is not true.
